DAY 01
ARRIVAL AT KOLKATA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Arrival in Kolkata. Garlanding on arrival with meeting and assistance at the airport. Our local representative will meet to welcome and escort you to the Hotel.

DAY 02
BREAKFAST
KOLKATA - GUWAHATI (BY FLIGHT) (1 HR 20 MIN)
After breakfast check out from the hotel and visit the following places:
Victoria Memorial - Victoria Memorial is a large marble building, which is considered to be the pride of Kolkata. Built between 1906 and 1921, it is dedicated to the memory of Queen Victoria. Now, it is a museum and a popular tourist spot under the Ministry of Culture.
Later visit Fort William, the Indian Museum, the Birla Planetarium & Howrah Bridge.
En-route pit stop for lunch. Later transfer to Kolkata airport for departure to Guwahati.
Guwahati is a sprawling city beside the Brahmaputra River in the northeast Indian state of Assam. It’s known for holy sites like the hilltop Kamakhya Temple, featuring shrines to the Hindu deities Shiva and Vishnu.
To the east, 18th-century Navagraha Temple is an astronomical center with planetary shrines. Umananda Temple, dedicated to Shiva and covered with engravings, stands on Peacock Island in the river.
On arrival at Guwahati airport, transfer to hotel and relax.

DAY 03
BREAKFAST
GUWAHATI – BHALUKPONG (238 KMS/05 HRS)
After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to:
Kamakhya Temple - One of the most popular places to visit in Guwahati, Kamakhya Temple is indeed a unique temple with a unique festival. Dedicated to Devi Kamakhya, the temple shut for five days everywhere, as it is believed that the deity experiences menstruation during the period. On the sixth day, the temple is opened for the devotees, after the deity is bathed and rituals have been performed. This day is full of celebrations as locals gather for the grand fair. Not only in Guwahati, this place is among the most popular tourist places in Assam.
Nehru Park - One of the tourist places in Guwahati, Nehru Park is perfect for families. The lush greenery of the park is refreshing and will ensure a good time during your visit. The kids will love this place as they would get to ride different swings. The highlight inside the park are the concrete sculptures depicting various dances such as Ojapali, Deodhani, Bihu and Bor Taal. Other than that, you also have an open-air theatre wherein you may get to witness performances by local artists if you time it right.
En-route pit stop for lunch then continue drive to Bhalukpong.
Bhalukpong is a small town located along the southern reaches of the Himalayas in West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh in India. The town is located at 213m above sea level, 100 km from Bomdila, 52 km from Tezpur and 5 km from Tipi. It lies along the Kameng river and is the headquarters of Bhalukpung circle.
On arrival, transfer to hotel and check in.

DAY 04

BHALUKPONG – DIRANG (138 KMS/04 HRS 30 MIN)
After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to:
Pakhui Wildlife Sanctuary - Spreading over an area of 862 sq.km, Pakhui Wildlife Sanctuary is located in a scenic environment. Surrounded by rivers on three sides and situated amidst the Himalayan ranges, Pakhui Wildlife Sanctuary is a treat to your eyes. The sanctuary is home to various wild animals including tiger, jungle cat, Himalayan black bear, elephant, leopard, barking deer, flying squirrel and many more. Some of the rare bird species found here includes great pied hornbill, jungle fowl, serpent eagle and wood duck.
Kaziranga National Park - Kaziranga National Park as a world heritage site. It is unique as it was home to one horned rhinoceros, which was among the last creatures belonging to prehistoric period. The park is situated southeast of Bhalukpong. Being a renowned reserve of India, Kaziranga National Park attracts visitors from all parts of the world.
En-route pit stop for lunch, then continue drive to Dirang.
Dirang is a small town in the West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh. It is located about 43 km from Bomdila on the way to Tawang. Dirang is located on the bank of river Kameng (Known as Jia Bharali in Assam). Since it is on the river valley the altitude is relatively low (4900 ft).
On arrival, transfer to hotel and check in.

DAY 05
BREAKFAST
DIRANG – TAWANG (134 KMS/04 HRS 30 MIN)
After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to:
Dirang Dzong - Dirang Dzong which is a tribal area, is on the shores of Dirang River. The architecture of the tribal colony is stunning. Some of the houses are over 500 years old. The houses were built to sustain the hostile weather in the region. The foundation of these houses is of stone and the walls and roof are built of wood.
National Research Centre of Yak - The National Research Centre on Yak is located amidst the Eastern Himalayan ranges. Founded by Indian Council of Agricultural Research, the center is responsible for conserving Indian Yak. The yak firm belonging to this centre is located 31 km away from Dirang. Researches on genetic resources and problems associated with yak production are conducted here. Improving yak and yak products are part of an agenda of the centre. National Research Centre on Yak is open for tourists visits on permission.
Sangti Valley - Explore the mountains of Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh and the tribal lifestyle of this region at your own pace. This private tour of the Tawang region takes you through the deep valleys of the eastern Himalayas, deep inside the tribal areas of the state, historic Buddhist monasteries and towering mountains.
En-route pit stop for lunch, then continue drive to Tawang.
Tawang is a town in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh, situated at an elevation of approximately 3,048 metres, to the east of Bhutan. The town once served as the district headquarters of West Kameng district, and became the district headquarters of Tawang district when it was formed from West Kameng.
On arrival, transfer to hotel and check in.

DAY 06
BREAKFAST
TAWANG – BUMLA PASS – TAWANG (20 KMS/01 HR 15 MIN)
After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Bumla Pass.
The Bum La Pass is located about 37 km away from Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh, at the Indo-China border above 15,200 ft above sea level.
On arrival enjoy the Bumla Pass. Later visit:
Tawang Monastery - Famous as the largest monastery in India, Tawang Monastery is one of the most incredible places to visit in Tawang. Also famous as Galden Namgyal Lhatse, Tawang Monastery is one of the most holy sites for the faith of Mahayana Buddhism. Belonging to the Gelugpa sect of Buddhism, Tawang Monastery is home to over 300 monks and holds 17 gompas in the region.

Nuranang Falls - Often reckoned as one of the most fascinating waterfalls in India, Nuranang Falls is one of the hidden gems of Tawang. Originating in Sela Pass, Nuranang Falls is a serene place where you can behold a stunning landscape.

DAY 07
BREAKFAST
TAWANG – BOMDILA (176 KMS/05 HRS 30 MIN)
After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Bomdila.
Bomdila is the headquarters of West Kameng district in the state of Arunachal Pradesh in India. Bomdila is one of the 60 constituencies of the state of Arunachal Pradesh.
En-route will pit stop for lunch.
Eagle's Nest Wildlife sanctuary - Also known as Eagle's Nest Wildlife sanctuary, this place lies between Sessa Orchid Sanctuary and Pakhui Tiger Reserve. It is a great place for bird watching as there is immense variety of bird species (over 450 species) spotted here. Some of them are Cormorans, Herons, Black Stork, Oriental White Ibis, Ducks, Hawks, Eagles, Kites, Vultures, Falcons, Pheasants, Quails, Tragopan, Cuckoos, Parrots, Pigeons, Woodpeckers, etc. Among other species found here are tigers, elephants, red panda, asiatic black bear, Arunachal Macaque, Gaur, Snakes, Lizard and various kind of insects.
Bomdila Monastery - Inaugurated in 1965, this abode to Buddhist monks and Llamas is the biggest attraction in Bomdila. The monastery is also believed to be an exact replica of Tsona Gontse Monastery, Tibet. This monastery in Bomdila is constructed by who was believed to be the 12th reincarnate of Tsona Rinpoche. The monastery belongs to the Mahayana Buddhism. A huge prayer hall has also, recently, been added to the structure. Another major part and attraction is the Buddha Temple built withing the monastery premises. This monastery has three parts, Upper Gompa, Middle Gompa and Lower Gompa.
Apple Orchards - Seeing nature's game has it's own delights ! The Apple Orchards at Bomdila give such a feeling as well. The systematic plantations when fully laden with apples look beautiful and full. The view is fascinating and one of a kind. Make a point not to miss a visit to these orchards.

DAY 08

BOMDILA – TEZPUR (153 KMS/04 HRS 30 MIN)
After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Tezpur.
Tezpur is a city and urban agglomeration in Sonitpur district, Assam state, India. Tezpur is on the banks of the river Brahmaputra, 175 kilometres northeast of Guwahati, and is the largest of the north bank towns with a population exceeding 100,000 as per Metropolitan Census 2011.
On arrival check in to hotel, en-route pit stop for lunch, later visit:
Nameri National Park - The location of Nameri National Park in itself is amazing. Lying on the Himalayan foothills, this 200-sq.km park opens the door for you to view some of the rarest species of plants and animals. Nameri National Park is 35 km away from Tezpur. The park boasts of dense elephant population. Other animals that the park is home to include tiger, sambar, leopard, Bengal fox, mouse deer and jungle cat. Some of the rare Himalayan plant varieties are seen here. Yet another attractive feature of the park is that you could go swimming, river rafting and sunbathing here. No wonder, Nameri National Park remains in the top list of tourist attractions here. The park is popularly referred to as ‘The Last House of White Winged Wood Duck’.
Agnigarh - Agnigarh refers to fire fort or a residence amidst fire. Agnigarh, the big fortress on hilltop, was constructed to isolate King Bana’s daughter Usha, from Lord Krishna’s grandson Anirudha. As it was surrounded by fire on all sides, it was named Agnigarh. To reach the fortress, you need to climb the circular staircase. From the hilltop, you could have splendid views of Tezpur and the River Brahmaputra.
Evening visit the Bura-Chapori Wildlife Sanctuary - situated 30 kms away from Tezpur and on the banks of River Brahmaputra, Bura-Chapori Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the most frequented tourist destinations. Covering an area of 44.06 sq.km, the sanctuary has a wide range of flora and fauna. Some of the wildlife present here includes tiger, wild buffalo, wild pig, one horned rhino and elephants. The sanctuary is home to a wide range of birds and it is a favored spot for migratory birds as well. Some of the birds here include Bengal florican, woodcock and swamp partridge. The wildlife safari tour lets you have an in depth study of the sanctuary’s best features.
