Arrival at Taman Negara & Tour Briefing
Travel by Road: KL →Taman Negara, Kuala Tahan, Pahang ~ 3 Hours
Taman Negara is a vast national park in Malaysia on the Malay peninsula. It encompasses a sprawling tropical rainforest that's said to be 130 million years old. Kuala Tahan, the main entry point, is a base for the nearby canopy walkway, river trips and treks through the jungle to the top of Mt. Tahan.

Bird Watching
As its lush jungle is home to over 380 different species of bird, Taman Negara is undoubtedly the best place to go bird watching in Peninsular Malaysia. You don’t even have to go far to spot lots of brightly-coloured birds. The paths and trails around Wildlife Headquarters at Kuala Tahan, for instance, boast the Asian Fairy bluebird, Rhinoceros Hornbill, and Yellow-vented Flowerpecker, among many others.
Interpretative Room
Located at the main park headquarters is the Interpretive Room which is a great place to visit if you want to know more about the history of the park. A videos presentation will fill you in on all the information you need to know about the diverse flora and fauna of Taman Negara National Park.
Dinner at Resort
Night Jungle Walk
An equally memorable experience is going on a night walking safari around the park. As dusk falls and the sun sets over the rainforest, all types of nocturnal animals start to emerge, and the jungle has an entirely different look, feel, and sound to it in the dark. Accompanied by a guide, you can go on a wonderful trek through the wilderness from the Wildlife Headquarters

DAY 02

Teresek Hill.
Be at the top! View the superb panoramic of lowlands, hills, and mountains. Look at the rivers, spectacular grey-leafed Seraya trees in broad valley, Gunung Perlis and Gua Besar in Keniam. On clear days you can see Gunung Tahan, 2187M – height the highest peak in Peninsular Malaysia.
The canopy walkway is an iconic of Taman Negara, regarded as the world’s longest canopy walkway. This is a must do activity in Taman Negara and you should never miss to do it. This suspension bridge is built 530 meters long and 40 meters above ground level is one of the main attractions for local and international tourists to Taman Negara.
Return to the Resort for lunch.
After lunch, you will take a boat cruise to Lata Berkoh.
Lata Berkoh is a series of magnificent cascades across large boulders along Tahan River. This popular tourist attraction is accessible via jungle trail, but most visitors prefer to charter a convenient 20-minute boat ride upriver from Kuala Tahan that will park 1km away due to rocks.
Later, challenge yourself against the rapids of Tahan River.
Relax and enjoy the cascading waterfall and swim in the deep pool. Visitors usually disembark on shore and finish a moderately easy 10-minute jungle trek along the river banks to reach the waterfall.

Transfer by Road: Taman Negara→ Mossy Forest, Cameron Highland~4 Hours
Mossy Forest is a lush area in the highland forest where moss has encapsulated the landscape. The chilly and moist atmosphere makes it a perfect environment for exotic plants. These unique florae will be pointed out to you by the guides. Mossy Forest is also called a Cloud Rainforest as the mist settles here, giving it a mysterious, surreal ambiance. People like to say that it feels like a scene straight out of Lord of the Rings!

The Sungei Palas Tea Garden greets visitors with a panoramic sights of undulating tea fields that stretch out for acres. The café, an iconic 20-foot overarching balcony facing the backdrop of the tea garden, is a must-see view for travelers to Cameron Highlands. Watch the processing of black tea and later to sample various kind of tea house.
Raaju’s Hill Strawberry Farm is known for having some of the juiciest strawberries in the Cameron Highlands. This is a great activity, especially for anyone who is travelling with children and you can pick half a kilo of strawberries that you can then take home and savor. If you prefer to just admire the strawberry fields but still want to sample some of the delicious fruit, then you can visit the onsite cafe where you can enjoy a full English cream tea with strawberry jam as well as their signature strawberry juice.
Sri Thandayuthapani Swamy Temple / Mosque / Church *Optional
For something a little different in the Cameron Highlands, consider checking out the Sri Thandayuthapani Swamy Temple which is a Hindu temple. As with all Hindu temples, expect a riot of color here and some exquisite reliefs that tell the stories of the Hindu epics in the Tamil Nadu style.

DAY 04

Buddhist Temple-Bee Farm-Garden Trips-Tour Orang Asli Village

Sam Poh Temple in Brinchang is the largest religious structure in Cameron Highlands, nestled on a small hill top at the back of town. The access road can be found at the turn off next to Iris House Resort; follow the signboards along the narrow road up in less than five minutes by car. While the opulent temple is Buddhist in nature, a variety of brass deities from similar religions can also be found huddled inside.
Ee Feng Gu Honey Bee Farm
This is a traditional apiary which is still in operation and has some interesting attractions inside include an indoor maze. This is a particularly good choice for families as younger visitors can enjoy admiring the colorful bees and there is a gift shop with a wide assortment of honey-related souvenirs.
Butterfly Garden is one of the oldest institutions in the area. If you love butterflies then you will have certainly come to the right place as there is an array of colorful species here as well as some other attractions. These include a tortoise section as well as an insect house, and all the butterflies are free flying so you will get to see them in their natural environment. One of the best things about the butterfly farm is that you can take a guided tour of the facility and guides will explain all the different kinds of butterflies on show here and give you information on their habitats and life cycles.

Cactus Valley is a botanical show garden nestled on a hill slope overlooking Brinchang town center, featuring a large collection of cacti, flowers and ornamental plants of various shapes, colors and sizes.
Mrs. Robertson’s Rose Garden
If you like flowers then one of the best ways to see the roses is on a trip to Mrs. Robertson’s Rose Garden which is located on a scenic hillside and will give you pretty views over the valleys below.
Some of the species that you can admire here include Pink Queen Victoria and Maid of Hearts and don’t be surprised by the large size of some of the flowers, as they thrive due to the higher elevation of the Cameron Highlands.
Lavender Gardens is a wonderful place to come to take in the aromatic air and the pretty purple vistas. On a trip here, you will find gorgeous landscaped gardens that are bisected with walkways which means that you can walk through the lavender fields and check out their beauty up close. As you would expect, the flowers attract a range of insects and there is a bee history gallery here as well as a cafe where you can relax with a drink and take in the views.
Tour the Orang Asli Village
Orang Asli means ‘Original People’ in Malay language and refers to the various indigenous groups that live in the Cameron Highlands. To that end, you will find a number of traditional Orang Asli villages dotted around the area and many of them are located on the main road that leads up to Tanah Rata, the central town in the Cameron Highlands.

Agro Technology Park at MARDI, Malaysian Research and Development Institute.
It’s a research center here that is focused on Agro Technology techniques and you can explore the gardens that spread over 42 acres and take in 100 different species of citrus fruits, 10 types of strawberries, and 40 different kinds of roses.

Time Tunnel
Billed as a museum although you will find less of an organized gallery here in favor of a series of displays that hark back to a different time in the Cameron Highlands. The aim of the Time Tunnel is to look back at Malaysia’s past and to that end you will find old curios such as vintage signs, postcards, photographs, and even a barber’s chair.
Mah Meri Art Gallery
Anyone who wants to experience some art in the Cameron Highlands should make their way to the Mah Meri Art Gallery. Here you will find a wealth of interesting art works such as intricate wood carvings that were made by the Mah Meri people who are one of the indigenous tribes in the Carey Islands in Malaysia. As well as wood carvings you will also find statues, masks, and ornate and eerie sculptures that are crafted using mangrove hardwood.
