DELHI – VARANASI BY FLIGHT
After breakfast transfer to airport for departure to Varanasi.
Varanasi - the holy city of India is also known by the name of Kashi and Benaras. Kashi, the city of Moksha for Hindus since centuries, is known for its fine-quality silks, 'paan' and Benares Hindu University and Avimukta of the ancient days; Varanasi is the most popular pilgrimage point for the Hindus. One of the seven holiest cities, Varanasi city is also one the Shakti Peethas and one of the twelve Jyotir Linga sites in India. In Hinduism it is believed that those who die and are cremated here get an instant gateway to liberation from the cycle of births and re-births.
On arrival meet local representative and transfer to hotel.

DAY 03
BREAKFAST
VARANASI- BODHGAYA (250 KM/5 HRS)
After breakfast drive to Bodhgaya.
On arrival visit:
Sri Lankan Monastery, Japan Nippon Temple, Burmese Temple, Thai Temple, Chinese Temple, Tibetan Monastery.
Also visit:
Sujata Village - a place where a woman with the same name gave Lord Buddha his first meal (milk and rice pudding) to break his fasting.
Mahabodhi Temple in the evening too for prayers.

DAY 04
BREAKFAST
BODHGAYA – VARANASI (250 KM/ 05 HRS)
After breakfast drive to Varanasi. Upon arrive in Varanasi check in hotel.
Thereafter visit famous temples:
Durga Mandir - Durga Mandir was constructed in 18th century by Bengali Maharani - Rani Bhabani of Natore. The temple is dedicated to the Goddess Durga. Next to the temple, is a kund (pond) which was earlier connected to the river Ganges. It is believed that the existing icon of the goddess was not made by a man but appeared on its own in the temple.
Kashi Vishwanath temple – this temple is the center of faith for millions of Hindus. The Jyotirlinga of Shiva, Vishweshwara or Vishwanatha, is enshrined in the temple, considered as one of the holiest temples of India. In Hindu religion it is believed that a simple glimpse of the Jyotirlinga is a soul-cleansing experience that transforms life and puts it on the path of knowledge and Bhakti (devotion). A single darshan of Vishweshwara Jyotirlinga is considered to merit more than the darshan of other jyotirlingas, scattered in various parts of India. The Kashi Vishwanath Temple has been a living picture of the timeless cultural traditions and highest spiritual values.
Kal Bhairav Mandir - Kal Bhairav Mandir is one of the oldest Shiva temples in Varanasi, India. Situated in Bharonath, Vishweshwarganj, this temple has great historical and cultural importance in Hinduism; especially amongst the locals.
Early evening take a boat ride on the River Ganges where one can light a lotus flower candle and set it adrift on the water before watching the nightly ganga aarti ceremony at 7.00 pm at Dashashwamedh Ghat from the boat.

DAY 05

VARANASI – AYODHYA (250 KM/04 HRS)
After breakfast drive to Ayodhya. On arrival Ayodhya, check in hotel.
Ayodhya - also known as Saketa, is an ancient city of India, believed to be the birthplace of Rama and setting of the epic Ramayana. It is adjacent to Faizabad city in the central region of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
Afternoon full day sightseeing of Ayodhya namely the Ram Janmabhumi which is the birthplace of Lord Rama.
Also visit Kala Ram Temple, Kanak Bhavan Temple, Lakshman Ghat and Jain holy places.
Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 06
BREAKFAST
AYODHYA – PRAYAGRAJ (155 KM/04 HRS)
After breakfast drive to Prayagraj. Upon arrival in Prayagraj check in hotel.
Prayagraj - previously known as Allahabad is a city in Uttar Pradesh state, north India, Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna and "invisible" Saraswati rivers, is considered holy by Hindus. It’s near the 16th-century Allahabad Fort, built by Mughal Emperor Akbar. In the fort are the ancient sandstone Ashoka Pillar, the underground Patalpuri Temple and a sacred banyan tree. The Allahabad Museum has Rajasthani miniature paintings.
After breakfast drive to Prayagraj to see the Triveni Sangam (Meeting point of the three rivers – Ganga, Yamuna ans Saraswati). One of the major Hindu festival Maha Kumbh Mela will be held here in every 12 years.
Triveni Sangam - around 7 km from Civil Lines, overlooked by the eastern ramparts of the fort, wide flood plains and muddy banks protrude towards the sacred Sangam. At the point at which the brown Ganges meets the Greenish Yamuna, pandas (priests) perch on small platforms to perform puja and assist the devout in their ritual ablutions in the shallow waters. Beaches and ghats are littered with the shorn hair of pilgrims who come to offer pind for their deceased parents.
After breakfast drive to Varanasi airport for departure to Delhi.
Upon arrive in Delhi proceed by surface to Mathura.
Mathura - the birth place of Lord Krishna,. It is scattered with numerous temples having its own significance, the main temple in the town is the Dwarkadhish temple where the devotees assemble in every festival. Sri Krishna Janma Bhumi is another site to visit, it is the place where Lord Krishna was born; similarly Lord Krishna’s rest place after his triumph over the tyrant Kansa is the Vishram Ghat.
Also visit the Gita Mandir, Radha kund and other places of interest.

DAY 09

MATHURA – HARIDWAR - RISHIKESH (360 KMS/07 HRS)
After breakfast drive to Haridwar. On arrival meet local representative and thereafter proceed to Rishikesh.
Haridwar - has with it a history that traces back to the mythology of Hinduism. It is considered to be the holiest of Places in India. Situated on the bank of river Ganga, Haridwar enjoys a place of pride as one of the most popular pilgrimage destination in India. It is just the perfect place for nature lovers as the serene beauty of nature combine with the spiritual ambience to create a heavenly atmosphere. This is one among the four places where Kumbha Mela is organized. If you happen to be there during the time of the fair, you will be teased out of your thought by its sheer magnitude.
On arrival Rishikesh check in hotel and overnight stay.
DAY 10

RISHIKESH – HARIDWAR (23 KM/50 MIN)
After breakfast enjoy sightseeing of Rishikesh.
Rishikesh - is one of the holy city in India. Rishikesh is located in the foothills of the Himalayas. Rishikesh is gateway to the Himalayas. The spectacular River Ganga is like pert of the city. Rishikesh is a place visited by several yogis and sages. They lived and practiced hard penance here. Rishikesh is world famous as Yoga capital of the world.
On arrival visit Lakshman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Swarg Ashram and Beatles Ashram.

It is the most important ghat on the river Ganga, where a holy dip is a must for every devotee.
