Ucchi Pillayar Temple - Ucchi Pillayar Temple is a 7th century Hindu temple, one dedicated to Lord Ganesha located a top of Rockfort, Trichy.
Rockfort Temple - Tiruchirappalli Rock fort is a historic fortification and temple complex built on an ancient rock.
Jambukeswarar Temple - Thiruvanaikal, Jambukeswaram is a famous Shiva temple in Tiruchirapalli (Trichy) district.
Tirupattur Brahma - is a Hindu Temple located in Thirupattur near Trichy, India. Worshippers believe that a person can change his fate by seeking the blessings of Lord Brahma at Sri Brahmapureeswarar Temple.

Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple - is a historic Hindu temple located on the southern bank of the Vaigai River in the temple city of Madurai, it is dedicated to Meenakshi, a form of Parvati, and her consort, Sundareshwar, a form of Shiva. The temple is at the center of the ancient temple city of Madurai mentioned in the Tamil Sangam literature, with the goddess temple mentioned in 6th century CE texts.
1000 Pillar hall - The largest mandapam in the holy temple complex, this mandapam is situated near Veeravasantharayar Mandapam to the north. This Mandapam has a total of 985pillars. These pillars have been so arranged that from whatever angle one looks from within, the pillars look in rows and rows.
Nayakkar Mahal - Thirumalai Nayak Palace is a 17th-century palace erected in 1636 AD by King Tirumala Nayaka, a king of Madurai's Nayaka dynasty who ruled Madurai from 1623–59, in the city of Madurai, India. This Palace is a classic fusion of Dravidian and Rajput styles.
Alagar Temple - Alagar kovil is a village in Madurai district. The history and living of the village is centered on Kallazhagar Temple. Constructed in the Dravidian style of architecture, the temple is glorified in the Divya Prabandha, the early medieval Tamil canon of the Allwar saints from the 6th–9th centuries AD. It is one of the 108 Divyadesam dedicated to Vishnu, who is worshipped as Kallazhagar and his consort Lakshmi as Thirumamagal.
Palamuthi Cholai (Arupadai Veedu) - Pazhamudhircholai Murugan Temple is the sixth among the Arupadai Veedu Lord Muruga Temple. It is located in Madurai City, Tamil Nadu. It is also known as Solaimalai Murugan Templem, sitiuated atop of hill known as Vrishabhadri or Idabagiri, and is surrounded by dense forest.
Thiruparakundram (Arupadai Veedu) - Thiruparankundram Murugan Temple is the first among the 6 Padai Veedu Lord Muruga Temple. It is located in the outskirts of Madurai City. This temple is considered very auspicious for conducting marriages, since as per the mythology it is here the divine marriage of Lord Murugan and Goddess Deivanai took place.

Suchindram Temple - built mainly in the 17th century, is 13 km from Kanniyakumari. It contains a linga, known as Sthanumalaya Swami, the triple aspect of God. This linga is Siva, Vishnu, and Brahma in one form.
Devi Kanyakumari Temple - Kanyakumari Temple is one of the 52 Shakti Peethams. It is believed that the right shoulder and (back) spine area of Sati’s corpse fell here creating the presence of kundalini sakthi in the region.
Vivekananda Rock - Vivekananda Rock Memorial is a popular tourist monument in Vavathurai, Kanyakumari. It was built in 1970 in honor of Swami Vivekananda who is said to have attained enlightenment on the rock.
Gandhi Memorial - Known as Gandhi Museum, it is now one of the five Gandhi Sanghralayas (Gandhi Museums) in the country. It includes a part of the blood-stained garment worn by Gandhi when he was assassinated by Nathuram Godse.
Triveni Sangam - This intersection of the Ganges & Yamuna Rivers is a Hindu pilgrimage site & sacred bathing place.

KANYAKUMARI - TIRUCHENDUR - RAMESWARAM
After Breakfast, Drive to Rameswaram.
Enroute Visit:
Tiruchendur Murugan Temple - It is one of the six major abodes, or sacred temples, of the Kaumaram religion. Soorasamharam, a reenactment of the victory over Soorapadman.
Then Drive to Rameswaram and visit:
Panchamukhi Temple - Panchamukhi Hanuman Temple, the five-faced Hanuman Temple. It is said that Lord had revealed his five faces here, hence the idol of Hanuman is depicted with five faces which are of Lord Hanuman in the middle along with faces of Lord Narasimha, Lord Adivaraha, Lord Garuda and Lord Hayagriva on the sides.
Dhanushkodi Temple - also popular as Kothandaramaswamy Temple, is believed to be 500-1000 years old. In this shrine, devotees can see the idol of Lord Rama holding his bow or kothandam, and hence it got named as Kothandaramaswamy Temple.
Ramanathaswamy Temple - It is also one of the twelve Jyotirlinga temples. It is one of the 274 Paadal Petra Sthalams, where the three of the most revered Nayanars (Saivite saints), Appar, Sundarar and Tirugnana Sambandar, have glorified the temple with their songs.
Nambu Nayaki Amman Temple - Nambu Nayaki Amman Temple is the most famous Temple in Rameswaram. The Nambunayaki Amman Temple is one of the notable Hindu Goddess temples in the region. Goddess Nambunayaki is the family deity (Kula Deivam) of numerous Maratha Brahmin families residing in the region.
Holy dip in Sea - Thousands of devotees from different parts of the country on Monday took a holy dip at in the sea at Rameswaram on the occasion of Adi Amavasai.
Agni Teertha Snanam - Agni Tirtham, one of the most important is also the most visited theertham here. It is located on the eastern beach corner of Sri Ramanathaswamy temple. It is the only theertham of the temple, which is located outside the temple complex, which are temple tanks located inside the temple. This theertham has also been mentioned in sacred Hindu texts such as Skanda Purana,Narada Purana and Sethu Purana.

Tanjore Brihadeeswara Temple - also called Rajarajesvaram or Peruvudaiyār Kōvil, is a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva located in South bank of Kaveri River in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, and India. It is one of the largest South Indian temples and an exemplary example of a fully realized Dravidian architecture.
Later Drive to Kumbakonam. On Arrival and Visit:
Swami Malai Murugan Temple - The temple is one of the six holy shrines of Murugan called Arupadaiveedu.
Patteswaram Amman Temple - This ancient temple is on the northern bank of the river Thirumalairayan. This temple is very big and is spread over a sprawling 4.4 acre temple campus. It has 4 main towers at all the four entrances.

Agniswarar Temple, Kanjanur - The presiding deity is Sukra (Venus). However, the main idol in the temple is that of "Agniswarar" or Shiva. In concordance with the Saivite belief that Shiva is all-pervading, Sukra is believed to be located within the stomach of the idol of Shiva.
Rahu Stalam, Tirunageswaram - also known as Rahu Stalam is a Hindu temple dedicated to the deity Shiva. It is significant to the Hindu sect of Saivism as one of the temples associated with the nine planet elements, the Navagraha Stalas, and specifically Rahu. Shiva is worshiped as Naganathar, and is represented by the lingam.
Tirunallar Saniswaran Temple, Karaikal - This is the only temple that is dedicated to Lord Shani (Saneeswaran, in Tamil). Whenever (planet) Saturn transits from one zodiac sign to another (an occurrence roughly every 2.5 years), millions throng this shrine for worship.
Suryanar Kovil, Kumbakonam – is a Hindu temple dedicated to the deity Hindu Sun-God, located in Suryanar Kovil, a village near the South Indian town of Kumbakonam Thanjavur District. The temple is considered one of the nine Navagraha temples in Tamil Nadu. The temple is one of the few historic temples dedicated to Sun god and is also the only temple in Tamil Nadu which has shrines for all the planetary deities.
Aduthurai Swetharanyeswarar Temple, Tiruvenkadu - is a Hindu temple dedicated to the deity Shiva, located in Thiruvenkadu, a village in Nagapattinam district. Shiva is worshiped as Swetharanyeswarar, and is represented by the lingam.

Natarajar Temple, Chidambaram - also referred to as the Chidambaram Nataraja temple or Thillai Nataraja temple, is a Hindu temple dedicated to Nataraja – Shiva as the lord of dance. The temple has mythical roots and a Shiva shrine existed at the site when the town was known as Thillai.
Arunachaleswarar Temple - also called Annamalaiyar Temple, is a Hindu temple dedicated to the deity Shiva. It is significant to the Hindu sect of Saivism as one of the temples associated with the five elements, the Pancha Bhoota Stalas, and specifically the element of fire, or Agni.
Ramanamaharishi Ashramams - The ashram strives hard to preserve the surroundings. Hundreds of visitors are given accommodations so that they may practice the teachings in the vicinity of the sacred shrine hallowed by His continued presence.

Sri Balaji Temple - a landmark Vaishnavite temple situated in the hill town of Tirumala at Tirupati in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, India. The Temple is dedicated to Venkateswara, an incarnation of Vishnu, who is believed to have appeared here to save mankind from trials and troubles of Kali Yuga. Hence the place has also got the name Kaliyuga Vaikuntham and the Lord here is referred to as Kaliyuga Prathyaksha Daivam.
Padmavathy Temple - Padmavathi Temple is the temple dedicated to Goddess Padmavathi or Alamelumanga, the consort of Lord Venkateswara.

Varadaraja Perumal Temple - Varadharaja Perumal Temple or Hastagiri or Attiyuran is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu located in the holy city of Kanchipuram. It is one of the Divya Desams, the 108 temples of Vishnu believed to have been visited by the 12 poet saints, or Alwars.
Later Drive to Chennai, on arrival visit:
Kapaleeswarar Temple - is a Hindu temple dedicated to lord Shiva located in Mylapore.
Parthasarathy Temple - is an 8th-century Hindu Vaishnavite temple dedicated to the Lord Vishnu, located at Thiruvallikeni.
George Fort - Fort St George (or historically, White Town is the first English (later British) fortress in India, founded in 1644 at the coastal city of Madras, the modern city of Chennai.
Santhome Church - San Thome Church, also known as St. Thomas Cathedral Basilica and National Shrine of Saint Thomas is a Roman Catholic minor basilica in Santhome, in the city of Chennai (Madras), India. It was built in the 16th
century by Portuguese explorers, over the tomb of Saint Thomas, one of the twelve apostles of Jesus.
