ARRIVAL CHENNAI
Welcome to South India. Upon Arrival at Chennai Airport Drive to Tirupati. On Arrival Proceed to Hotel and Visit:
Kapaleeswarar Temple - is a Hindu temple dedicated to lord Shiva located in Mylapore.
Government Museum - The Government Museum or Madras Museum is a museum of human history and culture located in the Government Museum Complex in the neighbourhood of Egmore in Chennai.
Shanthome Church - San Thome Church, also known as St. Thomas Cathedral Basilica and National Shrine of Saint Thomas is a Roman Catholic minor basilica in Santhome, in the city of Chennai (Madras), India. It was built in the 16th century by Portuguese explorers, over the tomb of Saint Thomas, one of the twelve apostles of Jesus.
St. George Fort - Fort St George (or historically, White Town is the first English (later British) fortress in India, founded in 1644 at the coastal city of Madras, the modern city of Chennai.

DAY 02

CHENNAI - TIRUPATI
After Breakfast, Proceed to Tirupati. On Arrival and Visit:
Sri Balaji Temple - a landmark Vaishnavite temple situated in the hill town of Tirumala at Tirupati in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, India. The Temple is dedicated to Venkateswara, an incarnation of Vishnu, who is believed to have appeared here to save mankind from trials and troubles of Kali Yuga. Hence the place has also got the name Kaliyuga Vaikuntham and the Lord here is referred to as Kaliyuga Prathyaksha Daivam.
Padmavathy Temple - Padmavathi Temple is the temple dedicated to Goddess Padmavathi or Alamelumanga, the consort of Lord Venkateswara.

TIRUPATI - BANGALORE
After breakfast checkout the hotel and proceed towards Bangalore. On Arrival Bangalore Check in Hotel and Visit:
Lalbagh Botanical Garden - Lalbagh Botanical Gardens or Lalbagh is an old botanical garden in Bengaluru. it is also home to numerous wild species of birds and other wildlife. The garden also has a lake adjoining a large rock on which a watchtower had been constructed during the reign of Kempegowda II.
Cubbon Park - officially called Sri Chamarajendra Park is a landmark 'lung' area of Bengaluru city. It has a rich recorded history of abundant flora and fauna plantations coupled with numerous impressive and aesthetically located buildings and statues of famous personages, in its precincts.
Vidhana Soudha - The Vidhana Soudha located in Bangalore, is the seat of the state legislature of Karnataka. It is constructed in a style sometimes described as Mysore Neo-Dravidian, and incorporates elements of Indo-Saracenic and Dravidian styles.
Bangalore Palace - is a royal palace located in Bangalore, Karnataka.
Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace - an example of Indo-Islamic architecture and was the summer residence of the Mysorean ruler Tipu Sultan. Hyder Ali commenced its construction within the walls of the Bangalore Fort, and it was completed during the reign of Tipu Sultan in 1791.
Bull Temple - Dodda Basavana Gudi (the Nandhi Temple) is inside a park called Bugle Rock. The bull referred to is a sacred Hindu demi-god, known as Nandi; Dodda Basavana Gudi is said to be the biggest temple to Nandi in the world.
St.Patrick’s Church - Built in the 19th century, this scenic Catholic church offers services that seat up to 550 people.

DAY 04

BANGALORE - MYSORE
After Breakfast, Proceed to Visit the Royal city of a magnificent tourist paradise. Mysore, the city of palaces, is a popular travel destination in South India it is an important cultural centre of Karnataka. It was once the capital of the great Wadeyar dynasty. It has largest universities in Karnataka. Mysore still remains the old world charm with its many institutions that propogate the traditional art & cultural forms.
On arrival check into the hotel & later in the afternoon proceed for a city tour of mysore, visit:
Mysore palace - is a historical palace and a royal residence at Mysore in the Indian State of Karnataka. It is the official residence of the Wadiyar dynasty and the seat of the Kingdom of Mysore.
Daria Daulath bagh - Daria Daulat Bagh (literally "Garden of the Sea of Wealth') is a palace situated in the city of Srirangapatna, near Mysore in southern India. It is mostly made out of teakwood. Srirangapatna is an island in the river Kaveri, about 14 km from Mysore. In Srirangapatna is the Dariya Daulat Palace (Summer Palace) that is set amidst beautiful gardens called Daria Daulat Bagh.
St. Philomena’s church - is a Catholic church that is the cathedral of the Diocese of Mysore, India.
Mysore zoo - officially the Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens) is a 157-acre zoo located near the palace in Mysore, India. It is one of the oldest and most popular zoos in India, and is home to a wide range of species. Mysore Zoo is one of the city’s most popular attractions.
The Gumbaz - The Gumbaz at Srirangapatna is a Muslim mausoleum at the centre of a landscaped garden, holding the graves of Tippu Sultan, his father Hyder Ali, and his mother Fakr-Un-Nisa. It was built by Tippu Sultan to house the graves of his parents. The British allowed Tippu to be buried here after his death in the Siege of Srirangapatna in 1799.
Tippu’s palace & fort - Tipu Sultan’s palace also known as the ‘Abode of Happiness’ encloses the precinct of the castle. The palace was built by Tipu Sultan and he named it as “Rash e Zannat” meaning “Envy of Heavens”.
Brindavan garden - The Brindavan Gardens is a garden located in the Mandya District. It lies adjoining the Krishnarajasagara Dam which is built across the river Kaveri. The work on laying out this garden was started in the year 1927 and completed in 1932.
Krishnarajasagar dam - Krishna Raja Sagara, also popularly known as KRS, is a lake and the dam that creates it. They are close to the settlement of Krishnarajasagara in the Indian State of Karnataka. The gravity dam made of surki mortar is below the confluence of river Kaveri with its tributaries Hemavati and Lakshmana Tirtha, in the district of Mandya.
Late in the evening drive back to the hotel. Have a delicious dinner & over night stay at the hotel.


DAY 05

MYSORE - OOTY
After breakfast checkout the hotel and proceed towards Ooty. Ooty is also called as Udhagamandalam & Oatacamund. Ooty is popularly called as chief hill station in Nilgiris because it compromise several types of scenery & long range of green hills. It is also dubbed as the blue mountain, an account of the blue mist that envelops the range. It is a beautiful small hill station that offers a panoramic view of green peaks, natural environment, blue mist lakes, slopes & a stunning hill resort.
On arrival Ooty check into the hotel & leisure day for your own activities.

DAY 06
BREAKFAST
OOTY - COIMBATORE - PALANI
After Breakfast, Proceed to Coimbatore. On Arrival Visit:
Maruthamalai Murugan Temple - Marudhachalamurthy (Lord Muruga) Temple, Marudamalai is a popular 12th century hill temple build by Tamil kings during sangam period as shown in purananuru and dedicated to Lord Murugan, situated in Coimbatore.
Isha Yoga Centre - The Isha Yoga Center situated at the foothills of Velliangiri, on the outskirts of Coimbatore, is the headquarters for Isha Foundation. Isha is a sacred space for self-transformation, where you can come dedicate time towards your inner growth. The center offers all four major paths of yoga – kriya (energy), gnana (knowledge), karma (action), and bhakti (devotion), drawing people from all over the world.
Later Drive to Palani and Overnight Stay at Palani.

DAY 07

PALANI - MADURAI
After Breakfast, Proceed to Visit:
Palani Murugan Temple - Arulmigu Dandayudhapani Swami Temple is one of the Six Abodes of Murugan. It is located in the city of Palani in Dindigul district, 150 kilometres (93 mi) southeast of Coimbatore and northwest of Madurai in the foot-hills of the Palani hills, Tamil Nadu, India. Palani temple is considered synonymous with Panchamritam, a sweet mixture made of five ingredients.
Later Drive to Madurai. On Arrival and Visit:
Meenakshi Amman Temple - is a historic Hindu temple located on the southern bank of the Vaigai River in the temple city of Madurai, it is dedicated to Meenakshi, a form of Parvati, and her consort, Sundareshwar, a form of Shiva. The temple is at the center of the ancient temple city of Madurai mentioned in the Tamil Sangam literature, with the goddess temple mentioned in 6th century CE texts.
Pudu Mandapam - Located to the eastern side of Meenakshi Amman Temple, Puthu Mandapam is also a popular place to visit in Madurai. Dedicated to Lord Sundareswarar, it was built by King Thirumalai Nayakkar between the years of 1628 to 1635, to serve as an abode of the Lord Sundareswarar and Goddess Meenakshi for summer months.
Vilachery Pottery Village - Vilachery is a top activity as it gives tourists the chance to see Hindu idols being formed out of clay and painted in vivid hues, and even take one home. Vilachery is home to around 150 families of potters, who perform their craft every day and sell their wares to temples and individuals.
1000 Pillar hall - The largest mandapam in the holy temple complex, this mandapam is situated near Veeravasantharayar Mandapam to the north. This Mandapam has a total of 985pillars. These pillars have been so arranged that from whatever angle one looks from within, the pillars look in rows and rows.
Naicker Mahal - Thirumalai Nayak Palace is a 17th-century palace erected in 1636 AD by King Tirumala Nayaka, a king of Madurai's Nayaka dynasty who ruled Madurai from 1623–59, in the city of Madurai, India. This Palace is a classic fusion of Dravidian and Rajput styles.
Thiruparakundram (Arupadai Veedu) - Thiruparankundram Murugan Temple is the first among the 6 Padai Veedu Lord Muruga Temple. It is located in the outskirts of Madurai City. This temple is considered very auspicious for conducting marriages, since as per the mythology it is here the divine marriage of Lord Murugan and Goddess Deivanai took place.
Palamudhircholai (Arupadai Veedu) - Pazhamudhircholai Murugan Temple is the sixth among the Arupadai Veedu Lord Muruga Temple. It is located in Madurai City, Tamil Nadu. It is also known as Solaimalai Murugan Templem, sitiuated atop of hill known as Vrishabhadri or Idabagiri, and is surrounded by dense forest.

After Breakfast, Proceed to Trichy. On Arrival Visit:
Sri Rangam - Srirangam (also known as Thiruvarangam) is a neighbourhood of the city of Tiruchirappalli.
Ucchi Pillayar Temple - Ucchi Pillayar Temple is a 7th century Hindu temple, one dedicated to Lord Ganesha located a top of Rockfort, Trichy.
Rockfort Temple - Tiruchirappalli Rock fort is a historic fortification and temple complex built on an ancient rock.
Jambukeswarar Temple - Thiruvanaikal, Jambukeswaram is a famous Shiva temple in Tiruchirapalli (Trichy) district.
Samayapuram - Samayapuram Mariamman Temple is a Hindu temple in Samayapuram in Tiruchirappalli in Tamil Nadu, India. The main deity, Samayapurathal or Mariamman, a form of supreme mother goddess Durga or Maha Kali or Aadi Shakthi, is made of sand and clay like many of the traditional Mariamman deities is considered as most powerful Goddess, and hence unlike many other Hindu deities there are no abhishekams (sacred washing) conducted to the main deity, but instead the "abishekam" is done to the small stone statue in front of it. It is believed by the devotees that the Goddess has enormous powers over curing illnesses[1] and hence, it is a ritual to buy small metallic replicas, made with silver or steel, of various body parts that need to be cured, and these are deposited in the donation box.
Tirupattur Brahma - is a Hindu Temple located in Thirupattur near Trichy, India. Worshippers believe that a person can change his fate by seeking the blessings of Lord Brahma at Sri Brahmapureeswarar Temple.

After Breakfast, Proceed to Pondicherry. On Arrival Visit:
Aayi Mandapam - Aayi Mandapam (Park Monument) is a white monument in Pondicherry, India built during the time of Napoleon III, Emperor of France. It is situated in center of Bharathi park. The monument commemorates the provision of water to the French city during his reign. It was named after a lady courtesan called Ayi. She destroyed her own house to erect a water reservoir to supply water for the city.
Aurobindo Ashram - The Sri Aurobindo Ashram is a spiritual community (ashram) located in Pondicherry, in the Indian territory of Puducherry.
Auroville - Auroville is a universal city in the making in south-India dedicated to the ideal of human unity based on the vision of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother.
Manakula Vinayagar Temple - Dedicated to the god Ganesa, it is a popular pilgrimage site and tourist destination in Puducherry.
Chunnambar Boating - The 20 min journey to paradise beach is really exciting and filled with fun. I would say that the backwaters and the paradise beach are heaven for fun-lovers including photographers, sports-lovers and even family outing. The Chunnambar Backwater in Pondicherry the French War Memorial is a stylish, beautiful and nostalgic tribute to Pondicherry

St. Thomas Mount - St. Thomas Mount (known in Modern Tamil as Parangimalai) is a small hillock in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, near the neighbourhood of Guindy and very close to Chennai International Airport. The ancient Syrian Christian community of India trace the origin of their church to St. Thomas the Apostle. From the 17th century, this part of Chennai was populated predominantly by Anglo-Indians. The St. Thomas Garrison Church is at the foot of St Thomas Mount.
