Requirements

All Malaysian nationals wishing to enter the United States must obtain a visa before their arrival.

Tourist Visa

Original Passport with a validity of at least six months beyond the intended period of stay.
Malaysian Identity Card
Malaysian birth certificates
Current proof of income – latest 3 months’ salary slips
Proof of tax payments, property or business ownership or assets
Travel Itinerary/ information on the planned trip
Bank statements
Credit card statements
Letter from the employer detailing the position, salary, and how long the applicant has been employed
One colour photograph – 2 x 2 inches (51mm x 51mm) white background with the head centred and sized between 1 inch and 1.4 inches facing directly at the camera. A photo should be sharp without spectacles
Online application form (complete by us)
Payment receipt for US$160 – non-refundable visa application processing fee (refer for details under fees)

Business Visa

All documents specified under the tourist visa and
Company letter of evidence of the applicant’s position and remuneration
Documents may vary for Non-Malaysian passport holders

Proof of receipt is required to get the appointment for the interview.

Processing Time

All applicants need to fix an appointment before attending in person for the interview. Applicants under 18 years old are required to interview with at least one parent. The parent is required to provide the original birth certificate during the interview appointment.

Visa processing time – 4 to 5 working days after interview appointment however for some cases it may vary due to individual circumstances and other special requirements.

The passport will be couriered to the chosen location selected at the time applicant schedule for the appointment which can be either the home address or standard location approved by the mission.

Caution

Do not present false documents. Fraud or misrepresentation can result in permanent visa ineligibility.
