DAY 01

MEAL ON BOARD

  • Arrive Delhi. Upon arrival meet and greet by local representative and transfer to hotel.
  • Overnight stay in hotel.
  • Note: Itinerary may defer depending on arrival time

DAY 02

BREAKFAST / LUNCH / DINNER 

DELHI –  SRINAGAR

  • After breakfast transfer to domestic airport for departure to Srinagar. Meet upon arrival, transfer to Deluxe Houseboat.
  • After lunch sightseeing of:
  • Mughal Gardens – linked through a channel to the northeast of Dal Lake. It also known as Shalimar Gardens, Farah Baksh, and Faiz Baksh.
  • Nishat Bagh – (Abode of pleasure) built by Asif Khan Brother in law of Jehangir in 1632 AD.
  • Shalimar Bagh – (Abode of love) built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the
  • Zabarwan Mountains in the background. The distance from Srinagar to the said gardens is about 12 and 15 kms respectively.
  • En route visit carpet-weaving factory.
  • Lunch, dinner and overnight in Deluxe Houseboat.

DAY 02

BREAKFAST / LUNCH / DINNER 

DELHI –  SRINAGAR

  • After breakfast transfer to domestic airport for departure to Srinagar. Meet upon arrival, transfer to Deluxe Houseboat.
  • After lunch sightseeing of:

DAY 03

BREAKFAST / LUNCH / DINNER

SRINAGAR – SONAMARG – SRINAGAR

  • Full day excursion to Sonamarg (Golden Meadow), a distance of about 83 kms will be covered about 2-½ hrs.
  • Sonamarg – lies in Sindh Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. Sonamarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan Lakes.
  • Enjoy horse riding up to Thajwas glacier and sledge riding on snow.
  • Thajiwas Glacier – Thajiwas Glacier which lies at a distance of 3 km from Sonamarg in Kashmir is an exquisite beauty situated 3000 meters above sea level covered in snow all through the year. The glacier is one of the most significant assets of Jammu and Kashmir and a must-visit for all the nature and trekking lovers.
  • Late afternoon drive back to Srinagar
  • Dinner and overnight in Deluxe Houseboats.

DAY 04

BREAKFAST / LUNCH / DINNER

SRINAGAR – GULMARG – SRINAGAR

  • After breakfast drive to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 meters above sea level. The distance of 65 kms will be covered in about 1.5 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and the highest golf course of the world with 18 holes.
  • One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits.
  • Nanga Parbat – locally known as Diamer, is the ninth highest mountain in the world at 8,126 meters (26,660 ft.) above sea level.
  • The en route view from Tang Marg to Gulmarg is fascinating.
  • One can also opt for a short trek up to Khilangmarg which can be covered in about 3 hrs. Lunch in Gulmarg. Late evening return to Srinagar.
  •  Khilanmarg – the meadow, carpeted with flowers in the spring, is the site for Gulmarg’s winter ski runs and offers a view of the surrounding peaks and over the Kashmir Valley.
  • Dinner and overnight in Deluxe Houseboat.

DAY 04

SRINAGAR – DELHI – AGRA

  • Early morning Shikara ride on Dal Lake visiting floating and vegetable gardens.
  • After breakfast transfer to airport for departure to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi proceed to Agra (City of Taj Mahal) distance of 200 kms will be covered in about 5 hours.
  • On arrival in Agra transfer to hotel.

 

DAY 06

BREAKFAST / LUNCH / DINNER 

AGRA – DELHI

  • After breakfast visit:
  •  Taj Mahal – one of the seven wonders of the world built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz. The monument made of white marble took over 22 years to finish in between 1630 AD to 1652 AD.
  •  Agra Fort – A massive structure on the bank of Yamuna built by famous emperor Akbar in 1565 AD. It has numerous places and beautiful pearl mosque.
  • After lunch drive to Delhi, The distance of about 200 kms will be covered in about 4.5 hrs. Arrive Delhi and then transfer to hotel.
  • Dinner at local restaurant and overnight at hotel.

DAY 06

AGRA – DELHI

  • After breakfast visit:

DELHI – ONWARD DESTINATION

  • After breakfast sightseeing of New Delhi, visiting:
  •  India Gate – originally the All India War Memorial) is a war memorial located astride the Rajpath. It stands as a memorial to 70,000 soldiers of the British Indian Army who died in between 1914–1921 in the First World War.
  •  Red Fort – a historic fort in the city of Delhi in India, which served as the main residence of the Mughal Emperors. Every year on the Independence Day of India, the Prime Minister hoists the Indian “tricolor flag” at the main gate of the fort and delivers a nationally broadcast speech from its ramparts.
  • President’s House – (Rasthrapathi Bhavan) the official residence of the President of India located at the Western end of Rajpath in New Delhi, India. In terms of area, it is the largest residence of any head of state in the world.
  • Parliament House and embassy area. 
  • Qutab Minar – a minaret and “victory tower” that forms part of the Qutb complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Mehrauli area of Delhi.
  • Late evening transfer to airport for departure for onward destination
